Dominion Part 1
The word was given to us to yield fruit.

Remember the parable of the Sower? Where the seed was inside the fruit to produce after its kind?
Let’s go to the book of Genesis again where God says: let there be light!
Genesis 1:3 “And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.”
We talked about the word of God and how the word of God is “the” container of faith. Here God uses His word to make the change on earth. In verse 2 we read “Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” So the hovering of the spirit of God over the earth could be a timeless act or force. See what I am saying? We do not know since when the spirit of God was hovering over the earth and since when the earth was void and formless. Our understanding of the universe begins with Genesis 1 but that doesn’t say what existed or had any shape before Genesis 1. It could or could not exist in a form or shape but God in his perfect knowledge gave us limited knowledge about life. So back to our point, the spirit of God was hovering over the earth, but nothing happened. Nothing happened then and nothing happened before that if any before had existed before.
Then God “said” let there be light and there was light. So that was the moment, that was the beginning. Everything changed after God “said” and used His word. Now we see the gravity of the word of God. Now we see the power and the substance. So, things which are seen are made of things which cannot be seen as Hebrews 11:13 says “Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
Hallelujah! Faith was the spiritual substance hidden in the container of His word which was released and created the creation. Now, you may say but how can that be? God was God and we are dusty human beings. Well, just a few verses later in Genesis 1:26 God says, “Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
Can you see it now? So now, can you understand it? The fact is that is how God sees you, and has created you, and your limitation in seeing yourself as God sees you did not and will not change His way of seeing you.
God said Let “them” have dominion. Let who? Who? Them. Who is them? You and me. Them which means mankind. How should or could we have dominion over all creeping things and the fowls of the air and so on? See there is a point here.
Did you know that the book of Genesis is NOT a simple book contrary to what it looks like? The book of Genesis should be read for months. Sometimes one single phrase takes days to be digested and even at its peak, our understanding of it is so limited. So, what is the point? How can we have dominion over the fish of the sea and everything else? Well, the same way God had dominion. Ohhh. I have touched many sacred cows here I know. God gave all dominion to man. So, God created man in His own image and gave “them” dominion and yes God used His word which contained the hidden force of faith or the substance of things not seen. What is man’s problem to accept and understand this? The sacred cows!
Well, do you fear snakes? You have dominion over them. John G lake was the perfect example of this dominion. So, am I saying that we are Gods? Absolutely not! Not even put in my mouth. But if you take the Lord for His word and do not interpret what He clearly said, He created man as His perfect duplicate spirit being with the same spiritual DNA and as God used His word and “said” it to make the change, you can use HIS word (attention: His word) not your word but His word and move the mountain. John 4:24 says God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Genesis 2:7 “Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living soul.” So by His breath which means spirit in Hebrew, we became a living soul, therefore our being comes from His spiritual being.
Dunamis!
God demands us to operate in His power but that is only possible when we operate in the spiritual laws and the kingdom principles where faith is one of the kingdom principles. Now back to our title which was The world was given to us to yield fruit, what is a fruit? What fruit are we talking about? Galatians 6:8 “A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”
So, you sow the word and harvest fruit which is faith and eternal life either in yourself or in your fellow mankind, which is the purpose of creation, and how do you do it? By using your dominion over the creeping thing and the fish of the sea and the fowl of the air knowing that YOU have control not the other way around. Hallelujah! If something else has control over you, you then check your dominion status and find the solution there and see what has bewitched you. What has taken over your dominion? And as you find it just blot it out, pluck it out! because Jesus said Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up, and “unless the Lord builds the house” the builder’s labor in vain Pluck your feet from the net honey, and take your dominion back! Hallelujah! Glory to God.
