David’s Faith: He knew how to take the word of God and carve anything with it.
David had stony faith.
(This is the transcript of an audio sermon.)
His faith was so sharp he could cut anything with it and the power behind it was the spirit of the Lord. He walked in faith and kept going for 13 years until he found on the outside, what he had seen on the inside. But he needed 13 years of wisdom and understanding for his new role.
God goes first, and we have to catch up with his footprints because what he asks is always bigger than us. You just have to obey and move and don’t need to know where. Abraham said yes Sir and walked to nowhere. God said: leave your father’s house and go to the land that I will show. He departed toward Maraya but had no idea where to go next. David had to go through 13 years of SAUL’S indignation and hatred to become what he had become on the throne and give what he learned to give. God had a purpose for him, but he had to catch up.
But how did he see it? Did he have more than Samuel’s word? When he faced Goliath, did he have more than Samuels’s word and anointing? How could he see himself on the throne? The stone that he picked and put inside his slingshot, focusing on the forehead of the big giant, oh hallelujah, he didn’t see a giant, he didn’t pay attention to Fear, he saw faith, he saw the giant God of Israel, he saw the power of His might, Adonai, Jehovah, who picks a nobody and brings him up to become somebody, Fear is listening to the devil instead of God. Satan uses Fear as his first armor.
Having comes after belief. So I believe I receive and the scripture says I have what it says I have and it shall come to pass. We all have the word of God, which means the word belongs to all of us, but what you do with what you’ve got makes the difference. But some of you had the word but produced nothing with it as you were so busy producing garbage. Garbage of doubt, garbage of worries, garbage of mental fights.
Without Goliath, there was no king David. He activated what David already had in his heart and used it so Don’t look at the circumstances that change; look at Jesus that never changes.
God is sticking on you. According to Romans 8:35 God is stuck on you! Thank you, Lord, that I am going glory to glory. David didn’t want one foot in and one foot out. he threw his whole self into what he believed. He gave all he had, which was himself. And besides, his Success was the end of the peaceful life he ever knew. Going on the hills in silence, playing flute, listening to the birds and sound of the river were over. Are you ready for Success? Are you ready to manage what you get? Because it is harder to manage Success than failure. Your Success brings you to a whole new level that introduces you to a set of problems that you’ve never seen before, never used to deal with, and never imagined but if you are ready to pay the price, go get it, hallelujah!
Jesus is the same hope, yesterday, today, and forever.
Father, I am delivered, I am healed, I got it.
I got the key, I got the cross, I got what you have planned for me,
It’s written
And it’s finished.
Shut up devil
It is finished
I plea the blood of Jesus
The blood of the son
The blood of the Messiah
And I take the authority.
In the name of Jesus
Yeshua
The blood never stops talking.
The blood never stops speaking your name
Whatever they did, whatever they said, I don’t care, I look at Jesus
The blood of Jesus will take care of it
Say it loud
The blood of Jesus will take care of it
It is written
And it is finished
In the name of Jesus
Signed, sealed, and delivered
God has already given me everything that I need; I have to take it by faith and make it mine.
